Modern Warfare 3 premiere gameplay trailer teases World War III

First in-game footage, plot hints

"It doesn't take the most powerful nations on Earth to create the next global conflict -- just the will of a single man."

Now if that doesn't sound foreboding as hell, I don't know what does. The line is heard loud and clear in the latest Modern Warfare 3 trailer, and when we say "trailer," we actually mean it's a trailer -- not another teaser, don't worry. As with the four initial teasers, we hear Vladimir Makarov sounding intelligent and profound despite his still-nasally voice. Truly, the man proves you don't have to have an incredible voice to be an international menace.

The new trailer also happens to have our first look at in-game footage and gameplay snippets, not to mention the clever logo swapping at the end teasing the game's theme. So yeah, World War III is finally happening.

Modern Warfare 3 will be out on November 8, 2011.

I'm still saying meh, knowing that the campaign will again be a chode. Wider than it is long. 3 inches of pain. No thank you.

Scripted events, scripted events everywhere. Hey, at least it's in Europe and not in MURRIKA/Russia/HerpDurkastan. Might be worth a rent to play with bros. I love how most of the on-rail scenes were taken straight out of MW2. And the whole "one soldiers decision can start a war" thing.... looks like we're getting the same quality writing from MW2

hope we see some multiplayer video's soon enough cause im more intrested in Mp then Single Player

Well...I hope it won't feature another 'shorter-than-midget' single-player campaign...Extremely Lazy developers...they need more education!!!!...

Note: Blak Ops' single-player campaign is good but could have been longer though...I want Dead Space or even Uncharted time frame if possible, I mean around 11-14 hours (should be standard to FPS) to deserve the money we paid!!!!!!!!!!!.....

You're paying for multiplayer, mostly. That is where the money is at.
Ask anyone what Call of Duty is famous for, they'll say Multiplayer.

You sir are mistaken. They are thinking of the multiplayer aspect not the single-player campaign when it comes to the money we are paying for the game. Think about it. How many DLCs have been released in the CoD series extending the campaign? Compare that to the map pack releases and you should see a very telling fact. Multiplayer is where the $$$ at.

Multiplayer in CoD isn't even that good. It isn't team-oriented at all, it's basically you're a one man army and run around like a chicken with its head cut off trying to kill random people with no clear objective.
