Update: the content is now live.
You thought it'd never happen, but here it is: the BioShock 2 Minvera's Den DLC is hitting PC at last, in just a couple of weeks. With nods to spiritual prequel System Shock and a focus on computer technology, PC players especially should appreciate this one.
Unfortunately despite releasing Protector Trials content free, and this a dizzying nine months after its console launch, 2K is still charging 800 Microsoft Points for it (about 12 bucks). Better than nothing, in any case.
Minerva's Den launches May 31 through Games for Windows LIVE. In the meantime, you can read this blog from lead designer Steve Gaynor, who discusses the history behind the content.
