[Update] Modern Warfare 3 receives four new teasers
World comes under attack, all four videos posted and translated
Well, can't say we saw this coming, especially this late into a Friday when most folks are already off work and stuck in traffic somewhere. What are we talking about? Activision has released the first Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 teaser, and like any good teaser does, it teases.
You won't see any gameplay or cinematic clips here, but we do see a rendering of New York. Really, how is New York still standing with all the crap it goes through in movies, books, comics, and video games? Magic, that's how.
Since Activision and Infinity Ward had that nasty spat, Modern Warfare 3 development has fallen upon Sledgehammer Games and Raven Software, with the former in charge of single-player and the latter handling multiplayer. At this time, there is no confirmation regarding Infinity Ward's involvement in the new Modern Warfare.
Update: All teasers are up for your enjoyment now. Including the one depicting New York under siege, there are four videos total, each featuring a different location. The other three all show key locations across Western Europe and feature a different line in Russian, which we now have (rough) translations for thanks to some multilingual Call of Duty fans.
New York City, United States - "One, will destroy the enemy's hope of victory."
London, England - "Two, use everything to your advantage."
Paris, France - "Three, take advantage of your enemies weaknesses."
Berlin, Germany - "Four, attack from the blind side."

I wish that would do it, really. But I suppose Infinity Ward and Activision have all the consumers wrapped nicely around their finger. You know which finger I'm talking about. I hate this part of the PC gaming industry.
it happened before in the history of the gaming market that a popular type of game was so overproduced and milked that it started to repel people in the end, some of you guys still remember raptor call of the shadows? promesing title from good quality, but like so many back then it never got big because of the same problem. everybody had seen enough of the top view flyinggames.
i wonder if it'l happen again with FPS, it really appears to be turning from a luxury dessert into a bag of chips.
i forgot to mention i menth D/M/Y instead of calender
releasedates are never the same though it does vary from time to time.
