PlayStation Network rebuild nearly complete
Sony is extending its compensation plan for PlayStation Network users with one free year of identity theft protection through Debix. Within the coming days, PSN account holders will receive a code through e-mail to sign up for Debix's "AllClear ID" plan.
Under the AllClear ID plan, users will be notifed if their personal information appears on criminal websites or law enforcement raids, have access to private investigators and identity restoration specialists, and up to $1 million in compensation if their stolen data is used fraudulently within 12 months of signing up for the plan.
As for the current state of PSN, Sony stated they're within the final stages of testing the rebuilt network. Sony did not offer a date on when PSN will be available.
