I honestly expected it to get delayed. Not that I wanted it to, but because Bioware have been working on DA, ME, etc., and it would have only been a year and a few months since the second game. Plus, ME2 only came out for PS3 this year. Gives the community time, and the dev team time, to prepare.

All I really have to look forward to later this year is Arkham City now, though. :

THM I definitely agree. This is quite possibly the most impatient I've ever been for a game, but it's even more essential than usual that Bioware takes the time to make this the epitome of gaming perfection.

I don't know about everyone else, but I plan on playing this thing for years to come. Upset as I am about the delay, surely there will be enough AAA titles this holiday to keep us busy until then.

I don't mind a delay as long as the developers of Mass Effect 3 polish out the gameplay mechanics as much as they can...

Oh...Man, as a finale, I'd expect a hell of a plot which is long enough to entertain players until the end of 2030!!!

Ded Valve Same. I figured when they announced a "Holiday 2011" release window, they were already prepared to meet the deadline.

Oh of course this year has got to be the biggest brawl of top AAA titles ever. Picking GotY would be incredibly difficult, with games like Gears of War, Uncharted, Elder Scrolls all fighting for the title.

I knew a game would get delayed, I didn't think it would be Mass Effect.
