You knew Portal 2 would be on a roll at home base on Steam, but how about learning that it is tearing up retail sales charts as well?
According to Chart-Track, the multplatform sequel to Valve's acclaimed puzzle platformer was the top-selling game in the United Kingdom for the week ending April 23rd, making Portal 2 the first Valve title ever to hit first place on sales charts.
Prior to Portal 2, the closest Valve ever got to number one at retail in the UK was back in 2007 with The Orange Box, which launched at third place in UK charts.
