Upcoming action RPG Pandora's Tower isn't like your typical Nintendo title: it stands out from Nintendo's family-friendly offerings with its gruesome premise of ripping the flesh off monsters to get rid of a curse.
Pandora's Tower centers around a pair of friends named Ende and Ceres, the latter having been cursed following a sudden beast attack at a festival. After the two end up at the towers where the creatures reside, Ende discovers the only way to rid Ceres' curse is to tear the flesh off the beasts and have Ceres eat the fresh meat. The meat from lesser enemies is only a temporary cure so Ende must claim flesh from the boss beasts found in 12 towers to completely eliminate the curse.
All that flesh ripping has earned Pandora's Tower a CERO C rating in Japan, which makes it suited for gamers aged 15 and up. Pandora's Tower makes its Wii debut on May 26.
