Hostile alien forces are drawn to humanity like moths to a flame. Only these moths tend to be well-armed with advanced technology that wrecks the flame something fierce. In the story of Inversion, that technology is a gravity-warping weapon.
Today, we get a live action teaser from Namco Bandai and Saber Interactive that... teases. The video documents moments in the lives of random civilians on the morning of the invasion, a la Halo: Reach promotional trailers, and imitates the whole pixely camera phone aesthetic. Apparently, people don't get at all freaked out when they see random objects -- like a hot sauce packet -- floating. Because you know, that's totally supposed to happen. Screw physics, right?
In Inversion, players step into the shoes of either Davis Russel, a cop, or his neighbor, Leo Delgado. The men are on a mission; not to save the world, but to find Davis' missing daughter. They'll probably accidentally save the world anyway.
