Dynasty Warriors 7 to receive Japanese voiceover option with free update

Over the years, the Warriors games have gradually improved in terms of English voiceovers.  Dynasty Warriors in particular has come a long way, and while 90 percent of the English voices in DW7 are actually quite tolerable -- maybe even good -- Tecmo Koei is planning to release a Japanese voice track option for the game.

Players will find the option following a free update in the near future, plus additional character costumes.  Paid downloadable content is also in the works, though that'll be a separate release and introduce actual gameplay content in the form of new stages and weapons.

So if the English voices in Dynasty Warriors 7 make you cringe, rest assured there is a light at the end of your tunnel.  Expect to see our review of the game later this week.
