I enjoyed singleplayer a lot but can't help feeling it could have been so much more.

I'm disappointed too, Crysis 2 is missing alot.
-Lack of open world levels. C2 levels are all linear and small, killing all replay value. I must have play village level in C1 dozen times before I got bored.
-Poor story telling, story plot was good but after every cut scenes I felt confused and wondering how I got here.
-Lack of vehicles action, I was hoping during the whole game I would fly a cell heli but it never came. And whatever vehicle action there is, it's short and boring.
-Graphics worst than Crysis 1.
-Muliplayer is much better than past, but it's COD clone with nanosuit and lag.
Overall the game is scaled down to run better on consoles, still a good game but not what I excepted.

I was actually really disappointed by this title. Don't get me wrong it is 10 times better then most FPS's on the market, however the gameplay just didn't match my expectations I had from the first game, the story was really kinda schizo. It just doesn't have that same crysis gameplay that I loved, and to be honest I can't place my finger on exactly what it is, it just has a different ambiance to it.

As far as graphics I was disappointed in this department, especially for a game known for its graphics. Crysis 1 maxed out looks better then Crysis 2. And if you put one of the higher res texture mods onto crysis 1 this is just compounded. Not to mention I still haven't been able to log into the multiplayer.

No DX11 pissed me off, still beautiful and a very fun game, worth a $50 price tag at launch, but for PC $60 was a rip off (no DX11? Preset graphical settings? Pfft).

We got boned, but it still looks better on PC than 360 so whatever.
DX11 is going to come in a patch. But regardless, I think Crysis 2 graphics are nothing compared to the previous two games. I'd also have to agree with Crafter. It just doesn't feel like I'm playing Crysis anymore, but just some generic shooter.

I really enjoyed it but I couldn't help feeling that it wasn't quite Crysis anymore which bothered/saddened me a bit.

I can predict the fall of Call of Duty titles I love Crysis 2 better than any other FPS games except BF: Bad Company 2, Resistance 2 and Killzone Saga

Not surprised, best singleplayer I've played on a shooter in a while, and the multiplayer is very unique.

And a lot of people bought Crysis 2 on console because Crytek massively *bleep*ed up the PC version...
