Today, one of the silhouettes in the official X-Men: Destiny logo has been revealed. And we're referring to the young lady -- the figure in a skirt -- who turns out to be an immigrant from Japan. She seems a tad bitter about being sent away by her parents, even though they acted in her best interest; seems Japan was tossing mutants in camps, and they didn't want that for their little girl.
Aimi Yoshida fights as you might expect from looking at her. She's extremely agile, with an acrobatic and graceful fighting style, in addition to being a "mutant ability expert." She "specializes in efficient mutant power usage," whatever that means. Is that even a power?
Apparently, the girl weighs just 95 lbs. despite her height of 5'1". We're thinking a direct hit from anything would likely shatter every bone in her little Asian body. And while we're on the subject of tiny, brilliant Asian ninja girls, who wants to bet the team's heavy hitter is going to be some dark-skinned ethnicity? Maybe throw in an annoying blonde guy (with fire powers) for good measure. Go, go, stereotypes!
I bet Aimi does math really well. On a somewhat unrelated note, Gambit and Colossus make cameo appearances.
