Yeah, if 30KBps kills you (even while playing online), I wonder how long you wait for games to DL, even the smaller ones...

I don't use VoIP stuff (can't hear too well), but it's a nice feature for them to add.

Actually on second thought, it is a lot, at least for us cable users. DLing it isn't a problem, but us poor Cable users get really crappy upload speeds.

I've always been tempted to plug a mic in but always go against it because I know I'll just get angry and berate and abuse the annoying brats who sing and play music and shit. Games are pointless if they make you angry for no reason.

The only game I really play that has people on mics for general games is TF2. It's riddled with prepubescant mommas boys trying to prove their balls have dropped. Main reason I haven't played that game in a long time.

More like 2.7mbps; US is 2.4.
