Square's innovative action RPG now readily available
Five months after the initial word, Square's unique action RPG Parasite Eve has finally been released on PlayStation Network in North America (we haven't heard anything about a Europe release -- let us know if you do), so if you missed out or just want to relive the memories, now you can.
For those in the former camp: Parasite Eve sees you take on the role of Aya Brea, an NYPD copper who has to tangle with Eve, a busty evil redhead mutant-type (our favourite) with a rich scientific history behind her coming.
Gameplay involves innovative action RPG mechanics -- weapon and armor stats and upgrades are included, and a 3D sphere helps you determine your reach in battle. Couple that with a distinct atmosphere and creepy tunes, and you've got one of the PlayStation's finest, as well as Square's.
No word on the sequel yet, but this is the real winner anyway.
Parasite Eve sells for $5.99.

I have always wanted to play Parasite Eve 1....If my memory serves me right....I still have my Parasite Eve 2 (NTSC DISC) for PlayStation One (slim) console, both of which have long been kept in the drawer since.......
