Looks good, maybe they'll upgrade it a little bit before release using the new DX11 features

I trust the development team will fix the mech and smoke animations/effects. That aside, the game looks surprisingly good.

Looks astounding graphically, but I can't shake the feeling that it lacks the doom-stomping mass of a mech. The players are so nimble, stopping on a dime and such... This feels very much like an Unreal game. Quick darts and position grabs second by second. Fun for it's type, but not what I think of when I think "mech."

Me, I'm all about old school tonnage. I want my mechs to make buildings rattle two blocks away as they stride with gargantuan inevitably toward their targets, shaking off the furious gnats of enemy fire, a symphony of towering bulk and mega-ordinance destruction.

looks like a realistic "phantom crash", if anyone remembers that game.

holy christ those environments are GORGEOUS! With a setting like that they MUST have a single player aspect as well. With regards to the combat, I like the idea of smaller, more nimble mechs (seems to be a product of that "cramped" environment). With the Mechwarrior reboot, and MinerWars it seems as though my favorite scifi simulation games are making quite a comeback!

This is a truly beautiful game as far as the graphics go and in game art. But I cant help it to agree whit Long Tail Gamer on the concept of having a death machine that will make the ground tremble and all on it in sheer fear and chaos of you piloting the behemoth that is your mech .
