March 8 should be an exciting day for gamers, what with all the cool stuff coming out. Assassin's Creed Brotherhood will be getting its first paid content in a long while on that Tuesday, and the new DLC is ominously called "The Da Vinci Disappearance."
When the add-on was first announced, Ubisoft released a teaser focused on the single-player campaign, but today, the publisher is showcasing the multiplayer goodies bundled with the downloadable content. While Ezio has the new gameplay features and exotic locales to explore in the single-player, MP fans can enjoy two new modes -- Assassinate and Escort -- across the new "Alhambra" map, as four new faces. Yes, that's a lot of "new."
Assassinate is a pretty straightfoward deathmatch mode, while Escort introduces a VIP mode to the Brotherhood multiplayer. In Escort, players split into two teams of four and must protect their VIP or assassinate the opposing team's special someone.
The trailer doesn't dwell very long on the new MP modes, but you do get to see the four new characters in action. We're pretty women didn't run around in skin-tight purple bodysuits during that period, but hey, whatever makes you happy.
"The Da Vinci Disappearance" will be out next Tuesday for Xbox 360 and PS3, priced at 800 MP and $10, respectively.
