The folks behind Bulletstorm have been marketing the game using the game's crude sense of humor, stemming from an overuse of hilariously bad language and over-the-top kills.
But we may have forgotten about the story -- and yes, there is one in Bulletstorm. Grayson Hunt and his buddy Ishi Sato never did get over their commander's betrayal, and attempts to exact revenge have landed both men and their former General's crew on the unforgiving planet of Stygia. And if their current situation weren't crappy enough, the characters themselves have some pretty harsh backstories.
The launch trailer doesn't go into too much depth, but it does serve as a reminder that -- believe it or not -- Bulletstorm isn't all about getting drunk and shoving a grenade up your enemy's arse.
