Doc Clock rewinds time for this week's Nintendo Downloads
Punch out critters with Animal Boxing
It's another bunch of casual titles for Nintendo fans this week with WiiWare offering two puzzle games. DSi owners have a larger selection to choose from that includes a strange boxing game with animals and a trading card game that lets you manage your own company.
A pet cat needs saving in Doc Clock: The Toasted Sandwich of Time and it's up to the player to overcome challenges by making contraptions from any items they find. If one of the Doc's contraptions breaks, he can use his Time Slider ability to rewind time and recover his creation. For 1,000 Wii Points, you too can make helicopters out of bathtubs and pulleys.
Urbanix puts you in control of a bulldozer whose job is to pave roads and make way for cities to be built. However, there's rogue vehicles about to hinder you or destroy your work so make use of a few power-ups to get back at them. Costs 500 Wii Points to download.
Animal Boxing pits you against a cast of creatures to become the top boxing champ. As if the concept wasn't strange enough, this game forces you to hold the DSi upside-down to focus on the action in the touch screen. Knock out some critters for 800 DSi Points.
Glory Days: Tactical Defense is a tower defense game with a military theme. Place tanks, cannons, and infantry to defend your base from enemy forces. Command an army of virtual troops on the cheap for 200 DSi Points.
The Seller is an unusual card game in which you must sell off your resources to others. By utitlizing resource, money, and action cards, you can make your own resources valuable and bankrupt rivals. Be the best businessman you can be for 500 DSi Points.
Alien Puzzle Adventure mixes up the usual "match three" puzzle fare by having you rotate around a mass of "quarks". Match like-colored quarks and make use of power-ups to prevent the mass from growing out of control. Worth 500 DSi Points.
