4.7 million copies of WoW: Cataclysm sold in one month

Azeroth's reset button is a big seller
Blizzard's World of Warcraft: Cataclysm had a record-breaking start with selling over three million copies in just 24 hours. Now with more than a month gone by since Cataclysm's December 7 release, the total amount of units sold stands at over 4.7 million.
This number includes sales through retail partners and digital distribution (the latter of which let players conveniently pre-load content if they ordered through the Blizzard store). Blizzard claims Cataclysm's sales feat also set a new monthly sales record for PC games.
