Penumbra high quality texture mod on the way
ZOMG hi-res furniture!
Another day, another awesome mod. If you're a horror fan, there's a fair chance you know the Penumbra series, now the spiritual predecessors of Amnesia: The Dark Descent. These are still some of the scariest games around, and they're about to get scarier with high resolution furniture.
Modder "Googolplex" says he was a 2D artist for the RPG Gothic 3, and is currently working on high resolution textures for the Penumbra series, which should make the experience more immersive and easy to play through given the age of the titles. Here you can see some of his work to date as compared with original textures. Note this is in the early stages, but already looks much improved.
No ETA on when the mod will be ready, but we'll be sure to keep you posted.

Besides, I don't think furniture can make players scary unless, of course, we play, the so-called, 'Poltergeist' Game!!!!!!!!!!!.......
