Initially planned to release somewhere in the January-March quarter, Square Enix has delayed the release of Deus Ex: Human Revolution to at least April. The company says they've realized their management priority "is to improve the development of [their] digital-entertainment products", in light of a recent slew of bad reviews -- for Kane & Lynch 2 and Final Fantasy 14, to name a couple -- and slow sales.
As such, Deus Ex will be getting some extra polish. The news may come as a surprise, given it was completely playable from start to finish recently, and the debut gameplay trailer certainly appeared to be showing off a solid package.
Developer Eidos Montreal writes on its Twitter feed: "We're excited to have this extra time to polish the game before sending it off to all of you."
