Nathan Drake's next destination in Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception is the Arabian peninsula, a location that the fortune hunter and his mentor Victor Sullivan believe to house a lost city called the Iram of Pillars. As the title implies, there will be all sorts of deceiving going on to the point that Nathan's identity itself is in question. Deception will also delve into the relationship between Drake and Victor.
The duo's travels will take them through the Rub'al Khali Desert, a desolate wasteland of sand and collapsing terrain that'll keep players on edge. Naughty Dog will be making Nathan more flexible than ever, enabling him to fight multiple targets and better his backwards climbing.
Deception's multiplayer features are getting a lot more attention this time around; Naughty Dog co-president Evan Wells says the studio will strive for it "to take on the big boys of the multi-player genre." And if you've got the proper set up, you'll be able to play Deception in hi-res stereoscopic 3D.
