Finally, I'll be able to continue the game.

Edit: Also, excellent choice in screenshots.

I think they promised to tweak the energy weapons in this new patch so that they pack a little more punch as opposed to feeling nerfed compared to the trusty ol' guns. Was kinda hoping for a more detailed list of what exactly was fixed, but interesting to see Hardcore mode and perks on the list.

Agreed -- detailed list is really needed. But I suspect they abbreviated it because it would be too massive otherwise.

So, now we can continue the game after completion?

Still missing a few bugs here and there I've noted. Ironically ones that I actually had to fixed up myself in small community mods.

Machienzo, slightly off topic but do you use Fallout Nexus with your mods?

Moop, the game's chances of being opened are pretty high in some outlooks, but this is a patch, not DLC.

Moop, I do use Fallout Nexus for my mods yes.

It's a handy site I must admit, I used it a lot when I used to mod Oblivion (TES Nexus).

I had very few problems before this recent patch. Now the game is close to unbearable. My game now locks up constantly and I've lost Boone and Rexx. I sent them to 38. They're not at 38, vault 22 or anywhere. Bethesda... thanks but no thanks...

Starting a new game might be advisable for such a comprehensive patch.

NVSE (New Vegas Script Extender) for PC mods will also probably be broken for the time being, because of the big game update. That means mods that use it (like the Readius Pipboy replacer) won't work either, at least until NVSE gets updated too!

^Yes, it is. Good catch. Should be updated within 24 hours as usual, and I'll update here as usual when it's ready.

After the update, I liked that ED-E's upgraded shot looked like the Gauss Rifle shots. Up until the game froze on me after 15 minutes, which I'm guessing is a part of the ultra cool update. It used to only freeze after an hour of play. Must be some new government initiative to limit video game playing.

I installed it even though I didn't encounter any bugs prior to installation, only a handful of glitches.

The patch only helped once I installed the game, so it's good I have a 250GB HDD otherwise I would probably sell FNV
