Not like Sonic Adventure
One of the damning factors in our Sonic Adventure XBLA review was the lack of widescreen resolution, so everyone not stuck in 1998 was left with those annoying black bars on the sides of the screen -- rather detrimental to the experience.
Don't let that spoil you on the upcoming Crazy Taxi re-release, though: Sega confirms with the trailer below the game is "true" widescreen, running at the standard 1280x720 resolution / 16:9 aspect ratio.
Besides improved graphics, fans can expect content from the arcade and Dreamcast versions, including the "Crazy Box", which packs a series of challenges. Also on hand are trophies and achievements.
Crazy Taxi will release on XBLA and PSN November 23/24, and will be priced at $10.
