Who cares? Forza 3 will still be better and they will have wasted their insane development time + costs for an underpar game.

Something tells me nova is one of those xbox fanboys who is in love with anything 360. I bet he thinks halo is the best game of all time too.
Overall gt5 will be the most realistic racing sim released yet, and the delay will be a month at most if its still in time for holiday season. Something tells me its more to do with the ps3 being hacked than the game itself. Sony and polyphony KNOW that this will be one of the biggest games ever for the ps3, and are probably implementing several things to make sure it cant be used with any jailbroken machine.

^Interesting. Seems possible. Medal of Honor packs the new 3.42 firmware update (which blocks pirating tools), so it's virtually impossible to play a pirated version. Perhaps they're doing the same for GT5, though you'd think they would've thought of this before, since it's coming out later.

Well there are already several people working bypassing that, and it looks like itll be cracked within a month. So if gt5 comes out with 3.42 in november, chances are that will already be bypassed. Maybe sony themselves have discovered a loophole and are planning to patch it before its even discovered. I mean honestly it was set to release in under a month, it was likely already in gold master and they had to take it back to change something chances are it was something MAJOR, as in possibly millions of copies being pirated.

MOH already has patches making it work on 3.41 the last I checked, I don't think they'll be able to really stop any level of piracy now that the world is tinkering with the open source code. Sony sill battle the issue in a similar manner to the PSP with constant firmware updates hoping to discourage the casual user.

GT5 will be a good game but everyone will have their own reasons for liking it. For me I like Forza 3 but I didn't care for Forza 1 and I missed 2 entirely. I liked GT and GT2 but I skipped 3 and jumped on 4. With GT5 I'm getting it primarily for the car selection and everything else they did with it comes in a distant second place. I want all the obscure 70's and 80's cars that I customized and configured.

Taking too long to wait, GT 5 is like 'Haley Comet'....the game should be released every 76 years

P.S. I'm pretty sure GT6 will be only on PlayStation 4 because it will take another 5 years or more

Argh.. This sucks! I hope my pre-order of the collectors eddition.. That I got back in August is still good. I'm hoping it dose come out before Christmas, I really don't want to wait till next year. I'd rather use my money Towards 3DS if that's the case

I read someone state that it may be due to the new nose design for the NASCAR vehicles. Not sure how true that is, but it wouldn't surprise me one bit.

Looks like i was correct afterall. This article says any post october release must be compiled using the 3.50 sdk and that gt5 was about to go gold on 3.41

If true, that's a retarded reason to push the game back. They could have released a "nascar new nose" patch, or sold it at DLC. :S
