Rock Band library reaches 2,000 songs with The Jimi Hendrix Experience
Tracks from "Are You Experienced?" debut album on the way
A round of applause is in order for Rock Band next week as the next batch of DLC pushes the RB library to over 2,000 songs. English psychedelic rock band The Jimi Hendrix Experience makes it all possible with a complete album download of their 1967 debut record Are You Experienced? Considered to be one of the greatest debut albums of all time, it contains some of Hendrix's best known songs so definitely make it a point to grab a few tracks or the whole shebang.
Here are the 12 tracks that will be available for download October 12; those marked in red are not playable in LEGO Rock Band:
- Purple Haze
- Manic Depression
- Hey Joe (Live)
- Love or Confusion
- May This Be Love
- The Wind Cries Mary
- Fire (Live)
- 3rd Stone from the Sun
- Foxy Lady
- Stone Free
- Are You Experienced?
- Highway Chile
The "Are You Experienced: Rock Band Edition (Album)" bundle can be bought for 1,600 Microsoft Points or $19.99 US / £9.99 UK / €14.99 EU from the PlayStation Store. Single track downloads are worth 160 MS Points, $1.99 / £0.99 / €1.49 from the PS Store, or 200 Nintendo Points.
