I'd laugh if any of those cheaters were dumb enough to join their Facebook accounts with their Real IDs.

Blizzard's idea of an unfair advantage is just idiotic... They fail to support custom resolutions (which in my case is done to reduce overscan), and I have to play in Windowed mode for my resolution to work. Which comes with it's own problems. All other games show your current resolution in the resolution options, but Blizzard games don't and have ALWAYS had stupid resolution problems that they fail to address until years after release (WarCraft III)

Looks like Blizzard got something right. I'm a little surprised.

What resolution do you want to use?

Judging by the tone of his post, I'd assume any resolution he wants to use.

1820x1030 l l

If I try to play at 1920x1080, the mineral, gas and farm amounts are cut off outside the screen.

Because apparently using them allows for things like Eyefinity to give you more view of the battlefield without having to move the camera. Well, if only Blizzard was competent enough to realize that by resolution is below those allowed.

I have a third-party program that fixes the problem, but Blizzard is actively finding these and banning people who use them as 'hackers'.

You accepted the EULA, which clearly state that 3rd party programs which alter the code are grounds for suspension or revocation of online support services. Case dismissed, go play a different game if you've got such a huge problem with the limitations Blizzard places on their games to make them available to players with lower end hardware.

I'm no computer expert, but being able to choose the resolution you want to use for your computer is something every player should be able to do.

"3rd party programs which alter the code are grounds for suspension or revocation of online support services"

A lot of Blizz hacks don't alter code - they are "assitance bots" that help you micro things on the screen. They are virtually undetectable because they are programmed to immulate human repsonse times.

These programs are almost as destructive as map hacks IMO.

Of course I accepted the EULA. If I could install the game without accepting it, I would.

You're also an idiot for saying that this has anything to do with making the game more accessible for computer casuals.
