Expected to launch next month, publisher Southpeak Interactive has delayed the RPG Two Worlds II for North America, the UK, and Australia in favor of releasing it after the holidays -- about January 2011.
The company has stated they wanted the game to be "absolutely flawless" at launch (unlike its predecessor -- an issue later mended), but developer TopWare says this is silliness and the actual reason is to avoid the crowded holiday lineup, to ensure the title doesn't get lost in the shuffle. So while the delay is bad news for fans, at least you're assured it's in a polished state.
Two Worlds II will still launch October 21 in most territories including Europe, and both releases will feature the same content (shame). We'll have our review come January.
