The RPG known as Arcania: Gothic 4 is nearing its October 12 PC release date, and you know what that means -- demo time. One has been released for both your pleasure and judgment, and with a heap of video options -- we know how much you like those, sweetie.
If you're not in the know about Arcania, it's a semi-official installment in the acclaimed Gothic universe by developer Spellbound. The first three games were developed by Piranha Bytes, who got into a legal scuffle with publisher JoWood and then went on to make the pseudo-but-actually-Gothic 4 title named Risen (PS. we loved it).
Is Spellbound's game going to live up to the series' name? Only two ways to find out -- hit up your source of choice and then check back soonish for our full review.
And while we've got you here, Arcania has some pretty rad DRM.
