Konami opens Tokyo Game Show website with Castlevania and Metal Gear

With the 2010 Tokyo Game Show approaching in a few weeks, Japanese game publishers making appearances at the show at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan have started opening their TGS official websites.  Konami is one of the early ones alongside SEGA, with the publisher and developer opening their TGS 2010 website.  Composing Konami's preliminiary games lineup are the following:

Konami has not specified what games will be playable and which will only make its appearance at TGS in video form.  Like with SEGA, this is only an initial list which looks to be built upon as we draw closer to the event. A tournament for Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker and a separate Metal Gear series cosplay tournament has been scheduled by Konami at the Tokyo Game Show.  These events will be broadcasted live.

Also like SEGA, Konami will be hosting games from other publishers at its booth at the Tokyo Game Show:

• The Legend of Heroes: Zero no Kiseki (Nihon Falcom, PlayStation Portable)
• Catherine (Atlus, PlayStation 3/Xbox 360)
• Metal Fight Beyblade: Choujou Kessen! Big Bang Bladers (Hudson, Nintendo DS)
• Metal Fight Beyblade Portable: Chouzetsu Tensei! Vulcan Horses (Takara Tomy, PlayStation Portable)
• Momotaro Dentetsu WORLD (Hudson, Nintendo DS)
• UFC Undisputed 2010 (Yuke's, PlayStation 3/Xbox 360)

The 2010 Tokyo Game Show is from September 16th to 19th, with the motto "GAME goes to a new chapter".  The official website for TGS can be found here.
