Left 4 Dead 2's "The Passing" DLC showed the final fate of Bill and now it's time to see how it happens. "The Sacrifice" will put players back into the original Left 4 Dead to see how Louis, Francis, Zoey, and Bill ended up in the town of Rayford, Georgia.
"The Sacrifice" will be three maps long but it'll be longer than "The Passing" as the maps will be very large and has a three-part finale. As a bonus, "The Sacrifice" will also open up the No Mercy campaign in Left 4 Dead 2 to be playable with the original four survivors, the new special infected, and new items (golf clubs and M60's included).
To ramp up the excitement leading up to "The Sacrifice" release on October 5 (free for Steam users, 560 Microsoft Points for 360 owners), a massive 190-page digital comic that lead into the events of "The Sacrifice" will be distributed across four parts starting early September. October 5 also marks the debut of Left 4 Dead 2 made available for Mac users as well.
