AC Brotherhood devs do a little cosplay, explain Brotherhood's birth

Talk about something special.  The Assassin's Creed Brotherhood team makes an appearance in the first 'Brotherhood Diaries,' appropriatedly titled 'The Birth of a Brotherhood.'

The video catches us up on Ezio Auditore's past, summing up the events of Assassin's Creed II, in which the rich young man is displaced by tragedy and betrayal.  After all, assassins and happiness don't often go well together, at least not from a literary standpoint. 

In Brotherhood, Ezio is older and much more experienced, leading him to create the Assassins Brotherhood.  Think of it as an assassin's guild type deal, except with morals and white robes.  Check out the BTS trailer, but make sure to hit the HD option first.

AC Brotherhood still follows Ezio, but players can leap into the new multiplayer mode, separate from the main story.  Participates choose from various character classes, like a priest or merchant, assassin or consort.  As our hands-on preview mentions, players can customize their characters in several different ways, from choosing the skin to special skill sets.

A special edition was also announced recently, so be sure to pre-order a copy.  Brotherhood is currently set to launch on November 16, a Tuesday not-so-far-away.
