Sonic Colors trailer races through resorts and cakes

After a few offbeat outings on the Wii, Sonic Colors puts the speedy hedgehog back to moseying along at breakneck speeds without doing anything too fancy.  This time he'll be speeding about in Eggman's themed planetary amusement parks to save an alien race.

What is up with those lyrics?  Anywho, the little fellows are called Wisps and they'll grant Sonic a power-up such as drilling or lightning-quick speeds. The Wii version of Colors offers 3D gameplay and its own exclusive Wisps while Sonic's outing on the DS goes the traditional 2D route.  Tails also seems to be around but he's yet to be confirmed as a playable character.

Sonic Colors will be available for the Wii and DS on November 16, 2010.  Pre-order either copy of the game to get a nifty set of quills to wear on your head.
