How long were they banned for? 2 free copies of the game almost seems too generous unless the ban was for more than a day or so.

They were banned for buying such a ridiculous game instead of pirating it like normal people.

So that's 24,000 copies of L4D2? Based on http://store.steampowered.com/app/550/ Valve is out $719,760 of potential sales? Even going by the 4 pack pricing, they're still down $539,940

Best/worst case scenario yeah. Most of those if they hadn't bought l4d2 yet aren't likely going to until the next price drop if then even.

L4D is only worth it if it;s free....!

Just goes to show that L4D2 didn't sell as well as they expected. Had 24k extra copies in storage. And "They're just being awesome as usual, that's all." is BS. They screwed L4D owners with no content support. Glad to see L4D2 suffered for it.

They sold over 5.5 million copies of the 360 version worldwide in the first 20 weeks since its release.

Hardly a failure.

They gave them the ability to download two copies of L4D2,one for them, one for a friend - You dont have to have 'spare' copies, they just simply keep the files hosted, derp derp fu*knut.

Oh boy I wish I got banned...Then I wouldn't have to bother trying to find a shop that would sell me L4D2 so I could play with a friend
