The original Sin & Punishment was a cult hit that got the attention it deserved once Nintendo released it worldwide through Virtual Console years after its initial release. Sin & Punishment: Star Successor keeps what made the original great while seriously ramping up the difficulty.
In Star Successor, players use one of two characters with unique skills as they make their way through on-rails missions to shoot their way through the end; if an enemy is close enough, you can also give them a nice bash to the face with a melee attack. Treasure is known for their pretty and hard titles so expect the crazy-ass difficulty to do you in multiple times before you get it right. Players are free to use either a Wii Remote and Nunchuk combo, Classic Controller, Wii Zapper, or Gamecube controller to take on the missions.
It's not all just moving and shooting as you'll need to chain attacks to increase your score for a better grade. Your high scores can also be uploaded to online leaderboards to challenge friends and strangers alike in the US and Europe. If earning your score is your cup of tea, Star Successor is for you.
