Naughty Bear's multiplayer modes are cuddly and deadly
It's more fun when your target fights back
Terrorizing the hapless locals can get old fast so what's a maniacal plush teddy to do in Naughty Bear? Make it more interesting by going after your own friends because there's nothing more fun than having your prey hold its own.
As you progress through the game's seven episodes, you'll get to unlock costumes that'll make you look fashionably fab as you shoot the everloving plush fabric out of your buddies. Once you're dressed to kill, you've got four multiplayer modes to take on:
- Assault - One team attempts to destroy a statue, the other defends the statue. You've got two minutes to do whatever it takes to reach your goal.
- Cake Walk - A sweet take on "Kill the man with the ball" where you can only win by holding onto the Glorious Golden Cupcake as long as you can. The catch here is that you can't fight back while holding the cupcake so you'll need some good dodging skills.
- Golden Oozi - You can only earn points by killing others with the Golden Oozi of Doomness. Work as a team to take down the wielder and then each other as you fight to get your hands on the weapon.
- Jelly Wars - A tactical co-op mode where three teams attempt to make jelly desserts by bringing them to a mixing machine. Naughty Bear himself will oppose everyone and you cannot respawn so teamwork is a must.
Various traps and power-ups are available to give players an edge such as a paint trap to prevent camouflage and capsules to speed up movement or increase strength. Those interested in the fluffy warfare can get a copy of Naughty Bear for 360 or PS3 on June 29 for $49.99.

Jelly Wars is the one that seems the most interesting and new.
I am kinda looking forward to the game.
I'm wondering about eventual pre-order bonuses too.
Pre-order bonus info here and here. C'mon now, use the profiles.
I may or may not pre-order it. Depends on if I feel like it when I'm at EB (hopefully tonight).
