"The body may heal; the mind is not always so resilient"
Y'all probably remember the teaser trailer for Deus Ex: Human Revolution released in March. The game, if you're new, is a fresh entry in the famed action RPG hybrid series. Today, publisher Square Enix delivers the full enchilada, and it's easily one of the more epic showcases we've seen.
Keeping in mind none of this will be in the final game, but rather is an especially cinematic approach to promote it, check out the "They Can't Stop The Future" trailer below, chock full of plot (watch in HD if you can).
Yep, it's the classic man versus corporation setup, but the execution is pulled off so well it feels real, reminiscent of the Mirror's Edge "Faith City" trailer, but much more grim. Looks like Squenix still has some tricks up its sleeve after all.
You can probably understand why we can't wait to see it on the big screen at E3 this month. While the game could dissapoint fans of the original in one way or another, we reckon it'll at least be good or great in its own right. Eidos is saying the game will be true to the original in its multi-path, multi-solution design, also shedding the universal ammo of its forebear Invisible War.
By the by, you can grab some wallpaper featuring a still from the trailer with this link.

In any case, this is the first I've heard of it, and it hasn't managed to convince me at all this game will be worthwile.
Hope they don't try and make it too epic, or they'll fail miserably.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to play Deus Ex and finish it completely non-lethally. Except for the guys that explode... they'd make it a bit difficult.
If you were aware of the franchise, you'd probably be more sold on the idea.
"Every war is the result of a difference of opinion. Maybe the biggest questions can only be answered by the greatest of conflicts."
"Human beings are perhaps never more dangerous than when they are convinced beyond a doubt that they are right."
And the second game wasn't up to par, so it's definitely not worth putting my hopes in due to the first game being absolutely brilliant.
