Pokémon sprites now have animated battle stances and attacks are executed quicker than ever:
Skip ahead to 0:20 for the good stuff
The video also gives a glimpse of Zoroark's Illusion ability, which will take on the appearance of a different Pokémon at the start of a battle; it remains to be seen how this works but Zoroark can't be caught in this state and still retains its Dark typing. Players who own Heart Gold and Soul Silver should be ready in the future to get special shiny versions of Raikou, Suicune, and Entei to trigger a unique battle with a Level 25 Zoroark.
Also revealed earlier this week were the three new starter Pokémon for Black and White: a fire-type pig, a water-type otter, and the grass-type snake with a permanent case of bedroom eyes:
As with the other starters, they share the Overgrow, Blaze, and Torrent abilities that boosts the attack power of their respective elemental moves if they're down to one-third of their HP. It should also be known that the new boy and girl trainers for this game are older than usual compared to their counterparts, possibly hinting at a more serious adventure.
