Shrapnel Games announces today that the latest game from Malfador Machinations, Space Empires: IV Gold, has shipped.

Timothy Brooks, President of Shrapnel Games, cautioned, "This is the largest pre-order in the history of Shrapnel Games. We want everyone to know that we will work feverishly to get this game shipped. But, our current system can only handle so many orders per day. We are expecting to have all pre-orders out by Thursday, March 7th, and then we will start filling orders placed today.
