    Not exactly new technology. Speech to text software has been around for a long long time, and translation services for even longer. All they did is to combine the two together.

    That's pretty cool, although someday it will replace the need for human translators.

    Well human translators aren't the only ones who have to worry about their jobs Translators are pretty far down the list of the jobs soon-to-be-replaced by robots and computers. Even these days some stores have replaced human clerks with cheaper checkout-your-self terminals. I sort of worry about this trend sometimes myself.
