What else do you do around zombies in a fantasy world? Shoot the ever-loving death out of them with other fairy tale characters, that's what. Wii owners are going to have to make do with that as there isn't a Virtual Console release this week. DSiWare gets another healthy bunch of content with some puzzle games, miniature golf, and some brick breaking.
In Zombie Panic in Wonderland, lovey-dovey zombies have invaded the titular fantasy world and it's up to Alice, Snow White, Dorothy from Wizard of Oz, and Little Red Riding Hood to take them all out with guns blazing. Solve the mystery of the "scented dwarves" as you shoot and kerplode everything on your way to the castle where an evil power lives. Stick it to that damn Cheshire Cat for 1,000 Wii Points and get some neat wallpapers here.
Kung Fu Funk: Everyone Is Kung Fu Fighting! is yet another minigame collection, this time with a 1970s kung fu theme. Up to four players can begin from the basics, move up with the various trials, and take the final test in a disco dojo. Make Carl Douglas proud for 500 Wii Points.
Over on DSiWare, Bloons is a port of the same WiiWare title where you must pop balloons while utilizing special darts, blocks, and different balloon types for a high score. The DSiWare version of Bloons offers a level editor to make up your own shooting gallery. Take your popping on the go for 500 DSi Points.
Sokomania is a simple puzzler where you must push blocks into targets. Later levels introduce new block types and environmental effects as players try to finish with as few moves as possible. 200 DSi Points is all you'll need to spend for this one.
Bounce & Break takes a stab at being a Breakout clone by having its themed seasons for each level change up the rules. If you can't get enough of your brick-breakers, you'll just need 500 DSi Points for this.
1001 Crystal Mazes Collection is, oddly enough, remarkably similar to Sokomania. Aside from the huge amount of levels offered, Collection simplifies things to just moving gems around. Will you spend 500 DSi Points for this huge batch of levels?
Crazy Golf features seven courses with six holes each as you try to putt through silly obstacles. Practice on your own then show off against others in multiplayer. 500 DSi Points is the price for admission.
This week's "Big Name Game" for WarioWare: D.I.Y. comes from Scribblenauts developer Todd Lewis. Microgame makers who own a Wii can watch Todd work on his microgame on the Nintendo Channel.
