Halo 3 started some of the most impressive marketing in gaming. No, we're not talking waving guns in public or holding fake protests in the name of God -- these are big budget shorts done by movie and special effects studios. After all, when Microsoft's publishing, you can count on money being thrown everywhere.
Fake but remarkably believable war documentaries hyped up Halo 3, and ODST's "We Are ODST" video showed us the birth of a drop shock trooper. "Birth of a Spartan" is the title of the upcoming live-action short for Halo: Reach, and we know that director Noam Murro will be at the wheel.
The trailer should be making its debut on US and UK television tomorrow, though a teaser on the official site shows "April 28," Wednesday. We're thinking that's when a full version hits the great, expansive Internets. The one slated for V at 10:00 PM EST and the UK's Sky Sports 2 around 7:45 BST will run for 60 seconds. Also keep your eyes peeled when watching previews at the movie threatre.
