Last year we'd written about The Oddbox, a complete Oddworld PC collection, including the debut of Munch's Oddysee and Stranger's Wrath on the platform. It was expected these would launch about winter time, but that's come and gone, so what happened? A post spotted on the official Oddworld forums reveals "production snafus" have provoked a delay.
According to the father of Oddworld, Lorne Lanning, Munch is currently in "final gold", but Stranger is giving them some trouble thanks to the special rendering aspects used on the original release. Despite this, they're aiming for a release this year ("must happen in 2010"), but have no set date in mind as of yet.
Steam users can look forward to achievements in all four games.
