First spotted on the Germany ratings board website and now confirmed by the publisher, From Software's highly praised and well-received RPG is now on its way to Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Asia Pacific. Until now, the game has only been announced for North America and Asia.
To help ease your suffering (and/or get you to buy it again if you imported), publisher Namco Bandai will be releasing it in a "Black Phantom Edition" with goodies -- soundtrack, art book and strategy guide -- different from those bundled with the North American version.
Demon's Souls has sold three times as many copies as North American publisher Atlus projected; Sony has said not publishing it here was a mistake, though quizzically decided not to release it in Europe afterward.
The game releases June 25.
