We missed the dizzying claustrophobia
Hey there Material Defenders, ready for another round of disorienting destruction? After just over ten years from its last release, Descent is coming back for a new mission on WiiWare.
Descent had players navigating a small craft through maze-like levels to destroy renegade robots and detonate bombs to collapse mine shafts. Since these mines were in space, the effects of zero-gravity allowed players to move in any direction as they please. This made navigating the levels significantly more challenging (not to mention nauseating for some) but a map system helped alleviate this a bit.
Very little is known so far about Descent WiiWare other than being developed by G1M2 (Metal Slug Anthology, Data East Arcade Classics) and slated for a Fall 2010 release. Hopefully some features such as multiplayer and Guide-Bots will join along for the return.

This is great, ill definately buy it when it comes out! I still play all 3 original games online.
Also, wasn't the objective of this game to detonate the core and find an escape hatch before it blows up?
