MW2 Stimulus Package DLC gets teaser and new screens

"The biggest entertainment launch of all time just got bigger!"

So you ready to make Modern Warfare 2 even better? The answer is "yes," and this is where you ask us how.

We are, of course, talking about that DLC with the funny little (figuratively) price tag. The "Stimulus Package" map pack comes with five maps, two of which are "slightly reworked" from old CoD4 maps. This five-map pack currently sits at $15.00 USD (ouch), which is five bucks more than its original $10 purchase price. Again, that's three new maps, two revamps...

While we can't tell you whether these maps are worth the full price, there is a nice little compilation video of all five maps. You can't really see what's going on with all the explosions and smoke, but at least you'll know how to make the biggest entertainment launch of all time even bigger.

Pretty pricey seeing as though there are only 3 new maps. Hopefully one of the new ones isnt a tiny one like killhouse was. But at least the two remakes are Overgrown and Crash!! YAY!!!

15 is quite the gouge, but I gotta say, I do like the name they chose for it. "Stimulus Package" is witty.

PC FPS games that allow user-made maps is so much better of a situation that this sorry $5 a map nonsense.

The DLC was confirmed some time ago as a timed exclusive for LIVE, meaning it'll go to other platforms eventually.

I plan on getting this, honestly. I've seen the new maps and they do seem quite good. Not happy about the price tag, but my B-day is coming up here soon so Y can just take some of the money people throw at me and get this, nice and simple.

Problem is, all it really takes is for one person to buy the map pack, then we all have to! As when playing and a new map appears, you get kicked off if you don't have it....

Also, would like to see some new/different weapons... perhaps different air drops. This is mearly a money making scheme and not much effort with regards to thought at least, (not saying anything about the quality of the new maps as I'm sure they will be as good as the others)

if you go into a stimulus lobby then go into a private match with the one of the maps it shows the problem i think

So far, don`t like it. You can`t just play regular team death match. It forces you to play a "variety" of games at random. I only like team death match. The other games make you chase targets and weird stuff. I don`t understand why they made it that way, team death match I would imagine is their most popular game. Why fix what is not broke?

ce427 im the same here, i only like team deathmatch as i think the other games are weird as everybody just runs to 1 area of the map and then its just a bullet frenzy.....i find this very boring!!!
