Modern Warfare 2's "Stimulus Package" has been priced at 1200 Microsoft Points, or 15 dollars. The news come our way via Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling on Major Nelson's weekly podcast yesterday.
The content -- launching March 30 on Xbox LIVE -- will include three new maps: Bailout, "a multi-level apartment complex" Storm, "an open industrial park littered with heavy machinery" and Salvage, "a snowy junkyard fortified by stacked debris and crushed cars", plus two "slightly reworked" old maps from Call of Duty 4, the fan favourites Crash and Overgrown. Yeah, that's it.
Given many titles offer content like this (and more of it) free, we can't find any justification for the high price (even the original expected $10 price is too high for our liking), and we doubt we're alone. What say you?
