Possible date for 2011 sequel?
After the weekend, Dragon Age: Origins will be getting its first expansion.
Now as review copies are trickling out to various outlets, and when we received ours for the Xbox 360 just days ago, we discovered a curious little card on top of the instruction manual. The "ad" shows the game's blood dragon and a date: "02.01.2011".
On Tuesday, March 9, the photographic evidence leaked onto GameGrep, and we contacted both EA and BioWare for clarification. The former did not comment, and the latter simply requested that we ask at a later date, preferrably after GDC.
So for now, we can only speculate. The most popular guess right now is obviously a sequel, as EA already promised another Dragon Age fiscal year 2011 Q4, which falls between January 1 and March 31.
See where this is going? Or maybe you don't.
Update: EA has responded after a slight delay. Obviously, no details, but the rep notes that February 1 will be a "big day."
