Ultimate Team expansion mode now on PSN and Xbox LIVE
Alright soccer-geeks, EA SPORTS has made you happy today.
The FIFA 10 Ultimate Team expansion mode is now available for download via PSN or Xbox LIVE, for a modest price of 400 MS Points or five bucks. Pretty much the same price as the FIFA 9 expansion content.
The original FIFA 9 Ultimate Team was exceptionally successful, with some staggering stats. Through it, over 35 million gold, silver, and bronze packs were opened, over 50 million auctions and items completed, and over 10 billion in-game coins traded. EA is obviously hoping the FIFA 10 follow-up will be a bigger hit; considering how well it did in Europe -- 1.7 mil sales launch week -- that's not an unreasonable goal.
This new mode will allow you to manage multiple squads at once, then compete against others in the updated online tournaments.
