Supreme Commander 2 got two more gameplay vids today going over the new Experimental Units. Added to the list of intimidating units already showcased are the Universal Colossus and the stationary Noah Unit Cannon.
Gas Powered Games and Square Enix have also released a demo for PC today, available for download via Steam, in case you're interested in trying out these babies yourself. The full game will be hitting PC and Xbox 360 on March 5.
The first is a massive robot that boosts armor for friendly units, and one of the most "intimidating, over-the-top" units in SC2, according to game designer and GPG founder Chris Taylor. While it does provide support with the armor buff, the Universal Colossus can fire a beam (major pew pew pew) that tears through enemies, and its two claws can suck enemy units straight up, just to screw with the other team.
The Noah Unit Cannon isn't all its name suggests. Rather than simply firing missiles or some straight-up explosives, the Noah can build a variety of assault units within itself. When these units are ready, it fires them as projectiles, clear across and deep into enemy territory.
