Rock Band updates for the week of 2/16
Otis Redding quintet and "All You Need Is Love" for Wii, PS3
Welcome back, LEGO Rock Band owners. You can join in with Rock Band 2 players for next week's batch of new content featuring five tunes by the "King of Soul", Otis Redding. Joining Mr. Redding are a lively bunch of artists including pop punk group All Time Low, Danish pop band Alphabeat, popular electronic duo The Chemical Brothers, and those big swingers known as The Brian Setzer Orchestra.
Also, for owners of Wii and PS3 versions of The Beatles: Rock Band, the Xbox 360 exclusive song "All You Need Is Love" will be available on February 16 for the Wii and March 4 for PS3. All purchases of the track will be donated to charity.
Here are the nine songs that will be available for download; those marked in red will not be available in LEGO Rock Band:
- All Time Low - Weightless
- Alphabeat - Fascination
- The Brian Setzer Orchestra - Stray Cat Strut
- The Chemical Brothers - Let Forever Be
- Otis Redding - (Sittin' On) The Dock of the Bay
- Otis Redding - Fa-Fa-Fa-Fa-Fa (Sad Song)
- Otis Redding - I'm Sick Y'all
